Gondola Access Systems
BET Design & Fabrication designed and built the Gondola Access System to solve the existing problems with entering and exiting a gondola car for loading or unloading. The GAS attaches securely to the side of gondola to provide an easy climb up the stairs to a platform. At the platform, workers turn around and descend ladder to inside of gondola. The GAS has an adjustable step at bottom of stair and ladder to accommodate tall gondolas, and a retractable step for short gondolas. The GAS has a safety yellow powder coat finish for lasting durability and comes ready to work for you, no assembly required.
