Ballast Car Scaffolds
BET designs and custom builds ballast car scaffolds with railroad safety in mind. They are built from aluminum for light weight to aid in handling from one car to the next. They are designed to dump ballast on bridges that have no railings or walkways. Our ballast car scaffolds are load rated for two men to ride while working dump doors to get the right amount of ballast where needed. They are easy to assemble and tear down and feature two separate tie off hooks that hook over top edge of the car for workers to attach a lanyard.
